School Of The Week

11/9/19 We were granted all access to this weekends game vs Lakeland University. From start to finish this game was action packed with big play after big play. Both teams came out hot scoring right behind each other to keep the game close early. Benedictine University was able to come up big on special teams with a huge blocked extra point attempt, but Lakeland was able to tie the game up at 20 going into the half. The second half of the game was even more exciting than the first. Both team came out of the locker rooms with the same fire they had in the first half, but it all came down to who wanted it more. Benedictine‘s defense was able to come up with some key stops giving the offense a chance to take over the game. With Benedictine being up late in the 4th quarter Lakeland wouldn’t go away easy. This game literally came down to the last drive. Benedictine was up 8 points, but Lakeland was putting together a promsing drive looking to tie the game before time expired. Lakeland got down near the redzone with seconds left when Linebacker Scottie Bobeck intercepted a tipped pass from Lakeland Quarterback Logan O’Neil to seal the Benedictine win 34-26. 

Ben U QB Tyler Jarnagin went 18-30 with 337 yards & 3 passing touchdowns, he also rushed for 67 yards & 1 touchdown.

Ben U RB Josh Williams rushed for 99 yards & 1 touchdown on 19 carries. 

Ben U WR Ben Moore had a huge day pulling in 10 catches for 100 yards & 1 touchdown 

Ben U big play Linebacker Scottie Bobeck ended the game with 20 total tackles, & 1 game winning interception.

10/5/19  We were granted access to Rockford University’s first home game of the season this past Saturday. The atmosphere was live start to finish. From the moment we arrived on campus, we were instantly greeted by tailgaters in the parking lot having a great time. Once we made it to the field we immediately saw two teams with tons of energy going through the pre game period. As fans began to pile into the stands things got even more exciting. Both teams came to play and they put on a show for fans on both sides of the field. We were amazed by the play of both teams during this game even after it started pouring down raining. Wisconsin Lutheran walked away with the win, but I must say it wasn’t an easy one. Rockford University fought the entire game even through a few questionable calls in the red zone. One thing we noticed that spoke volumes on how good of a game we witnessed was even when the rain picked up the fans stayed seated. The game was nothing short of amazing, and we were honored to be apart of the festivities.

We were granted all access to this years Chicago Football Classic, and it was an honor to be in such a live atmosphere. From start to finish the game was action packed, and being on the field was an experience in itself. With the action being right in front of us, we were able to capture some great footage, along with some dynamic photos. We were very impressed with the play of both of our schools of the week Hampton and Howard University.   As we know Hampton University walked away with the win 41-20 . 

Hampton University's Quarterback #3 Deondre Francois finished the game with 217 passing yards, & 4Tds, on 20 passing attempts.  WR #81 Jadakis Bonds finished the game with 3 catches for 75 yards and 2Tds, along with 1 rushing attempt that went 44 yards to the house giving him 3 touchdowns on the day. 

Howard University's Quarterback #3 Caylin Newton, threw for 284 yards, 2Tds, & 2Ints, on 54 passing attempts. 

Running back Dedrick Parson rushed for 96 yards on 15 carries for the day.
